Hey ladies! :) My name is Jillian Webb, but a lot of people just call me Jill. I'm 21 years old and I'm from Jackson, Nebraska (super small... 320 people to be exact!). But I am now living in Vermillion, South Dakota, which is about 40 minutes from home which has been so nice. I'm currently a senior social work student at USD. I love it so much, but I'm so very ready to be done with school! I'll be done with classes in May, and then I'll have to do an internship in the fall to finish out the degree.

I've been blessed enough to be able to take a semester off of working this semester. However, for most of my college career I worked at a place called SESDAC, providing supports to developmentally disabled adults in a group home setting. Last semester I worked full time and was able to save up enough to take time off this semester. Even though I don't work there anymore I volunteer with my individuals at least once a week, because there's no way I can't hang out with them at least on a weekly basis! They have my heart forever... that's for sure!!!

Well as I said, I'm from Nebraska. So you better believe I bleed Husker red!!! smiley Not that I'm a huge football fan, but when my Huskers play... I will be watching! I also love dance parties and just being goofy with friends (for example... this past weekend, me and two of my roommates made our living room and dining room into a fort...) Another thing I love to do when I have time is read, but I don't get much time to read during the school year!

In the summer of 2010, I went on a mission trip with Campus Crusade for Christ (CRU) to Ocean City, Maryland. We focused a lot on relational ministry and evangelism which was really cool to be trained and equipped in. We were required to get jobs while we were there so we would be able to minister to our co-workers. While I was there, we got to meet a lot of international students and God just really gave me a heart for internationals.

Last September, I began praying about what God wanted me to do after school and I really felt Him calling me somewhere in Asia. So I began looking at trips to Nepal and India, because I thought that's where He wanted me to go. Then, a friend showed me both the World Race and this trip. I started to pray about going to Thailand, and as I did... God started to show me that for years He had been laying trafficking on my heart (I had no idea until this point in time... I'm stubborn sometimes!). I knew that Thailand was where He wanted me to go and He's constantly been reassuring me as I go throughout this process.

As I've started to talk to some of you ladies, I've heard stories like that... about how God's layed trafficking on your heart or cool ways He's worked to show you that yes, He REALLY wants you to go to Thailand this summer. It's stories like that, that make me SO EXCITED to go on this journey with you ladies. It's been so refreshing talking to other women whose hearts are breaking for these women and who want to be part of bringing HOPE that only Jesus can offer to them. Thinking about that... that's why I'm excited to go!!! Ladies, God is going to move HUGE this summer, and He's asked us to come along for the ride. I'm so pumped that we've all said yes, and I can't wait to meet each and every one of you beautiful women of God and to be His hands and feet! smiley Praying for all of you!
