Hello! :) My name is Alison Rose Bloomfield- but I usually go by Alley. :) But I love any nickname, really. 

I am 18 years old till August 25th and from a small town in Alberta, Canada. I am currently a freshman at a small Christian University, majoring in Elementary Education. 

I was a waitress at a local restaurant, which was a fabulous opportunity.  God really used this time in my life to teach me more about him. He used this experience to help me learn to talk to people and somewhat come out of my shell, as well as really learned what it meant to be his servant. 

I really enjoy anything crafty- I love to scrapbook, decorate and color! I also have dabbled with writing. I love to express what God places on my heart with poetry as well. When with friends, I have a tendency to do some crazy things like the classic dumpster dive, grabbed some ice cream at Dairy Queen {Drove away without the Cone of course} and drove 18 hours straight through the night to good 'ole Idaho for the weekend. ps. if you dont get the coning story, ask, it is a fun one to share. :)

Personally, my least favorite vegtable is the carrot. I have a monkey named Mr Squiggles and I love to ride my polar bear to school. :P My favorite colors are purple and teal and I live on a farm with my AMAZING family. I also have a slight addiction to pinterest.  

One night when I was at a service the song "Give me Your Eyes" was sung- when it came to the line "Give me your Heart for the Ones Forgotten" I heard God telling me "Alley, I have given you that Heart, why are you ignoring me? Instantly I knew what he was talking about- for he had placed Thailand and the pain of Human Trafficking on my heart but I had been telling him I would go in a couple years because right now I had my life going on, but God got me on this so I went home that night and sent the application. And here I am today!  Writting you this description of my life!  I look forward to meeting all of you in the near future!  :)
